ABOUT FALL BALL
Our fall season is for girls who want to play all year round or get ready for a higher division in the spring. Beginners are welcome to start playing in the fall too! We usually offer both a recreational option and an advanced league (Select) for more experienced players.
- Registration usually starts in mid-summer and ends in early August.
- The season starts in September and ends in November. Practices begin in mid August.
- Teams play Double-headers (or two games) on Saturdays and usually play in two tournaments during the season.
- Includes divisions 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U.

SHB offers several age divisions to reach a wider scope of players, which includes 6U, 8U,10U, 12U, and 14U. Please see the official USA Softball Age Division Chart for the 2024-2025 season. See below to find which age division your child will be placed in for the Fall 2024 season.

Ladies and Gentlemen, give it up for our SHB 14U Bad News Bears!! They earned a 3rd place finish at the 2022 Central "B" District Championship Tournament. South Huntington Beach Girls Fast Pitch Softball is very proud of all of our athletes and coaches who will be competing this weekend in Lancaster, CA for a shot at the USA Softball B State Championship!! Best of luck this weekend girls!!!

South Huntington Beach Girls Fastpitch Softball (South HB) is a non-profit recreation softball league that serves girls ages 5 through 14 residing in Huntington Beach, Fountain Valley, Costa Mesa, Newport Beach and surrounding communities. We provide a safe, first class recreational softball program to all girls interested in fastpitch softball.
